Approximately 40 IAM Local W536 (District W24) members from Frontier Health in Longview, WA ratified a new three-year contract.
The new deal includes significant wage increases across the board, with substantial 7% increases to the base wage. The new contract recognizes up to 7 years of prior experience in the medical field and gives longevity wage increases to our members on their 3rd, 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th anniversary dates.
“We knew going into bargaining wages were the top priority for this group,” said IAM District W24 Business Representative Jeff Wagner. “It was a tough fight, but we didn’t waver and as a result some of our members saw a 40% increase in their wages”.
Membership was united and the bargaining committee was ready and well-prepared. This group was determined to get a good contract, and they did.
