On April 8th IAM members at Portland Oregon Penske Truck Leasing ratified a new 3 year agreement. The 3 year deal came with historic wage increases upon ratification plus substantial cost of living adjustments in the 2nd and 3rd year of the agreement totaling a 12% general wage increase.
In addition, the negations committee with the assistance of IAM District W24 Assistant Directing Business Representative Will Lukens were able to secure a $3.00 an hour shift differential and healthy wage premiums for the Reefer Techs, and Field Techs.
The agreement also saw the addition of strong seniority language and a CDL premium. IAM District W24 Assistant Directing Business Rep Will Lukens stated, "The committee showed up prepared and did a great job representing their coworkers at the table and it paid off big time".
